‘Creates miracles in the ordinary’ is the line that most resonates with me. There’s a ‘wow’ moment in feeling I might actually be comprehending that sentence. I suspect it would be ideal if the ‘miracles created in the ordinary’ happened naturally, to the extent I could simply experience joy in knowing they are happening -without thinking or trying to create them. If I’m ever fortunate to experience that feeling some day, I think it would take me a long time to convince myself that I might have become the person that (today) I hope is inside me. I also feel this might be a lofty goal that only humble people can attain. I think focusing on humility may be the next step for me.
What a beautiful, vulnerable space of connection! Off the top of my head, I can recall several moments of creating miracles out of the ordinary…what about Waffle’s presence during your work on the hallway…or the ease in the 3-hr conversation with your sister…or the experience of Troy’s birthday week…experiencing the co-existence of joy and sadness…Miracles happen more often than you/we realize. It’s a matter of perspective and a willingness to allow and co-create your day…your life…your you. You are more humble than you think you are and a more powerful co-creator than you give yourself credit for. ❤️? Thank you for sharing your thoughtful response.
